The Alli Mae Carnes Studio LLC d/b/a The Alli Mae Carnes Studio | d/b/a Aggregate Theatre Company
Effective Date: June 15, 2026 Last Updated: June 15, 2026
1. Who We Are
The Alli Mae Carnes Studio LLC ("AMCS," "Aggregate Theatre Company," "we," "us," or "our") is a North Carolina limited liability company that operates a performing arts studio and theatre company in Raleigh, NC. We operate under two registered trade names: The Alli Mae Carnes Studio (for arts education programming, including private lessons, group classes, and summer camps) and Aggregate Theatre Company (for theatrical productions, in-school residencies, and performances). Both names refer to the same legal entity.
This Privacy Policy applies to the websites located at allimaecarnes.com and aggregatetheatre.com, as well as any related forms, portals, or communications we operate (together, the "Sites"). It describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights with respect to that information.
Contact us with any privacy questions: Email: admin@allimaecarnes.com // Mailing address: 3210 Fairhill Drive, Raleigh, NC, 27612
2. Information We Collect
We collect personal information in the following ways.
A. Information You Provide Directly
Contact forms. When you submit a contact or inquiry form on either Site, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the content of your message.
Program registration and enrollment. When you register a student for private lessons, group classes, summer camps, productions, or other programs, we collect: the student's name, date of birth, age, and grade level; the parent or guardian's name, email address, phone number, and mailing address; emergency contact information; and health disclosures relevant to the student's participation (such as allergies, medical conditions, medications, or physical limitations). For programs involving minors, this information is collected from the parent or guardian — not directly from the student.
Scholarship applications. When you apply for a scholarship or financial assistance through our scholarship application forms (currently hosted on Google Forms), we collect the student's name and program of interest, the parent or guardian's contact information, and any financial or circumstances information you voluntarily provide in support of the application.
Ticket purchases. When you purchase tickets to AMCS or Aggregate Theatre Company performances, we collect your name, email address, and payment information. Payment is processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full credit card numbers or payment card data on our own systems. See Section 5 for more information about third-party processors.
Audition and talent file submissions. When you submit a resume, headshot, portfolio, or other materials to be added to our talent or artist file, we collect the personal and professional information contained in those materials, including your name, contact information, and artistic background. Submissions should be sent to admin@allimaecarnes.com or as directed on the relevant page.
Donation and support. When you make a donation through the Fractured Atlas fundraising page linked from our Sites, your donation is processed by Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Fractured Atlas collects and processes your personal and payment information directly; their privacy policy governs that data. We receive a record of donations made through our Fractured Atlas fund but do not receive your full payment information.
Studio Portal and scheduling platform. Students and families who register through our Studio Portal (currently operated by MyMusicStaff) provide contact, scheduling, and payment information governed in part by that platform's own terms and privacy policy in addition to this Privacy Policy.
Employment and contractor inquiries. When you inquire about working with us — whether as an instructor, contractor, or in any other capacity — we collect the personal and professional information contained in your application materials.
B. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our Sites, we and our hosting platforms (Squarespace for allimaecarnes.com; Wix for aggregatetheatre.com) automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing activity. This may include:
-
Your IP address and general geographic location;
-
Browser type and operating system;
-
Pages viewed and links clicked;
-
Referring URLs; and
-
Session duration and timing information.
This information is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies. See Section 6 (Cookies) for more information.
C. Information from Embedded Content and Social Media
Our Sites embed content from third-party platforms, including an Instagram feed on allimaecarnes.com and YouTube and Facebook content on both Sites. When you interact with embedded content, those platforms may collect information about you directly, including through cookies, even if you do not have an account with them. Instagram (Meta), YouTube (Google), and Facebook (Meta) each have their own privacy policies that govern that data collection, which is independent of this Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use the Information We Collect
We use the personal information we collect to:
-
Administer and communicate about programs, classes, camps, and productions you or your child are enrolled in;
-
Process registrations, payments, and scholarship applications;
-
Ensure student safety, including by sharing relevant health disclosures with program staff who need that information;
-
Respond to your inquiries and requests;
-
Send program updates, schedules, cancellation notices, and other operational communications;
-
Promote AMCS and Aggregate Theatre Company programs, productions, and events to you — you may opt out of promotional communications at any time by contacting admin@allimaecarnes.com;
-
Maintain records required for program administration, insurance, and legal compliance;
-
Protect the legal rights and interests of AMCS and the students, families, and artists in our community; and
-
Comply with applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use student or minor personal information for advertising, marketing profiling, or any purpose unrelated to program administration and student safety.
4. Children's Privacy — COPPA Compliance
Our programs serve students ages 5 and up. Because we work extensively with children, we take the privacy of minors seriously and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), 15 U.S.C. § 6501 et seq., and the FTC's implementing COPPA Rule (16 CFR Part 312), as amended effective 2025.
Our Approach: Parent and Guardian Submission
All online forms and registrations involving students under the age of 13 are designed to be completed by a parent or legal guardian — not by the student directly. When you register your child, submit a scholarship application, or provide health information, you are doing so as your child's parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
If we learn that we have inadvertently received personal information submitted directly by a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe your child has submitted personal information directly, please contact us at admin@allimaecarnes.com.
By signing the AMCS Program Registration Agreement, parent or guardian provides verifiable parental consent to AMCS's collection and use of their child's personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.
What We Collect About Minor Students
Through parent or guardian submission, we collect the following information about enrolled minor students: name, date of birth, age and grade level, health disclosures relevant to participation, and program enrollment details. We use this information solely for program administration and student safety.
How We Use Minor Student Information
We use minor student information to administer their enrollment, ensure their safety during programs, communicate with their parent or guardian about program matters, and comply with applicable law. We do not use minor student information for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to program operation and student safety.
Sharing Minor Student Information
We share minor student information only as necessary for program administration: with instructors and program staff who need the information to provide services, with our Studio Portal platform for scheduling and enrollment management, and with emergency services in the event of a medical emergency. We do not share minor student information with third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.
Third-Party Forms — Google Forms
Our scholarship applications are currently collected through Google Forms, a service provided by Google LLC. Google's privacy practices apply to data submitted through Google Forms in addition to this Privacy Policy. We do not control Google's data practices. We recommend reviewing Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com. We use Google Forms only to collect scholarship application information, which is then reviewed by our staff and stored in our own records. We do not use Google Forms to collect sensitive health information about minors.
Data Retention for Minor Students
We retain personal information about minor students for as long as they are enrolled in our programs and for a reasonable period thereafter to address any program-related questions or legal matters. We do not retain minor student information indefinitely. If you wish to request deletion of your child's personal information from our records, please contact admin@allimaecarnes.com.
Parental Rights Under COPPA
If your child is under 13, you have the right to:
-
Review the personal information we have collected about your child by contacting admin@allimaecarnes.com;
-
Correct inaccurate information we hold about your child; and
-
Request deletion of your child's personal information from our records.
We will respond to verified parental requests within a reasonable time. To verify your identity as the parent or guardian, we may ask you to confirm information we have on file for your child's enrollment.

Squarespace (allimaecarnes.com) uses cookies for session management, analytics, and embedded content functionality. Wix (aggregatetheatre.com) uses cookies for similar purposes.
Essential cookies are required for the Sites to function correctly (for example, to maintain your session when you navigate between pages). We do not use your information collected through cookies for advertising or marketing targeting.

7. Photos and Videos — Use of Images
AMCS and Aggregate Theatre Company use photos and videos of students, families, performers, and audiences for promotional, educational, social media, and archival purposes.
For enrolled students: We collect a photo and video release consent as part of program registration. We use student images only in accordance with the consent provided on that release. The photo/video release signed during program registration governs our use of student images in print, digital, and social media contexts.
For performers and production participants: We collect photo, video, and likeness consent as part of the Performance Agreement, Production Team Agreement, or other applicable agreement.
For audience members: By attending AMCS or Aggregate Theatre Company events, you acknowledge that photography and videography may occur for archival and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify a staff member upon arrival.
Embedded Instagram feed: The Instagram feed embedded on allimaecarnes.com displays posts from @TheAlliMaeCarnesStudio. Images of students that appear in that feed have been posted with documented parental consent consistent with our photo/video release process. If you believe an image of your child has been used without proper consent, please contact admin@allimaecarnes.com immediately.
Production recording restrictions: Audience members may not record or photograph AMCS or Aggregate Theatre Company performances without prior written consent from AMCS. This restriction protects the rights of performers, the rights of copyright holders of licensed works, and the privacy of minor performers. Production clips shared by AMCS on social media are shared within the terms of applicable production licenses.
8. Data Security
We implement and maintain reasonable security measures to protect the personal information we collect from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, consistent with our obligations under the North Carolina Identity Theft Protection Act (N.C.G.S. § 75-65) and applicable federal law.
Our security practices include: limiting access to personal information to staff who need it to perform their duties; using password-protected systems for student and program records; using third-party payment processors that comply with PCI-DSS standards; and not transmitting sensitive student health information through unsecured email channels.
No method of data transmission or storage is completely secure. If you have reason to believe that your personal information held by us has been compromised, please contact admin@allimaecarnes.com immediately.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to meet our legal obligations:
