
In-Person Auditions
Aggregate is holding auditions for three different productions on Saturday, October 18 from 3:00-6:00 PM and Sunday, October 19 from 3:00-8:00 PM at The Ridge (2011 Ridge Rd., Raleigh). Actors must be 18 years old or older. Information on each show and requested audition material is below. Additional audition information available via sign-up link.
An audition accompanist will be provided.

A New Brain
About the Show: A life-affirming musical by William Finn and James Lapine. Director: Matthew Hager; Music Director: Alex Thompson; Choreographer: Alli Mae Carnes
Production Type: MainStage
Rehearsals: February 15-March 12, available evenings and weekends
Performances: March 13-29, Friday/Saturday/Sunday at Peace University (Leggett Theatre)
Compensation: $800 stipend
Casting: The roles of Gordon, Rhoda, Lisa, Richard, and Nancy D. have already been cast. All other roles are available.
Audition Material: 45-60 second cut of a contemporary musical theatre song. (Can be the same song used for Gazellephant audition.) In addition, auditionees may be asked to stay and read from the script.

Gazellephant
About the Show: A rockin' musical by Matthew Hager about making friends and following your dreams! More about the show HERE.
Production Type: Locally touring children's musical
Rehearsals: Up to 6, likely weekdays during the day and Sunday evenings
Performances: Intermittent throughout the school year; must be available to perform during school hours.
Compensation: $150 for initial rehearsals, $80/performance, $30/brush-up
Casting: Giselle (lead); Dad/Milton/Wags (supporting); Margaret/Giselle swing
Audition Material: 45-60 second cut of a contemporary musical theatre or rock song. (Can be the same song used for A New Brain audition.) In addition, auditionees may be asked to stay and read from the script.

The Midsummer Experience
About the Show: A one-hour madcap dash through William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. More about the show HERE.
Production Type: Locally touring educational production
Rehearsals: Up to 4, likely Sunday evenings
Performances: Intermittent throughout the school year; must be available to perform during school hours
Compensation: $150 for initial rehearsals, $80/performance, $30/brush-up
Casting: Helena/Snug/Fairy track; multi-track swing
Audition Material: 60-90 second Shakespeare monologue (comedic or romantic preferred)
Video Submissions
If you are unable to attend in-person auditions, Aggregate will be accepting video submissions through midnight on Sunday, October 19. Please email your audition video, along with your headshot and resume, to aggregatetheatre@gmail.com with the subject line "[YOUR NAME] VIDEO AUDITION."

Audition material: for Gazellephant and A New Brain, please perform a 45-60-second contemporary musical theatre song as well as a 60-90-second contemporary monologue. For Midsummer, please perform a 60-90-second Shakespearean monologue (romantic or comedic preferred).
All else being equal, casting preference will be given to in-person auditionees.
